On February 21, 2012, at the customs outpost Terminal Preševo, during the control of the passenger train on the route Skopje-Belgrade, the customs officers prevented an attempt to smuggle large quantities of medicines.

Owing to the mobile scanner, the customs officers, in a joint operation with the members of the MoIA, during a subsequent control near the toll gate Bubanj-Potok, prevented an attempt to smuggle 180,000 pieces of cigarettes.

Yesterday evening around 10 p.m. during an extraordinary control of the section of the motorway Е-75 between Vladičin Han and Leskovac, near the Doljevac tollgate, the customs officers seized 200 kilograms of fine-cut tobacco of foreign origin.
